I am an NRI and have large amount in tax free bonds in India (bought when I was a resident in India) which I have not yet sold since it provides tax free high returns 7.50%.

Should I sell these bonds and remit the sales proceeds to my home country?

Its tax free only in India. You might have to pay full tax on the interest in your home country. You need to work out the economics after taking into account the tax position in that country.
